PRODUCTION COST
There are many cost factors to consider in video production.
There could be pre-production research, scripting, and visualisation costs. A location recce may be necessary.
In production, there's equipment hire, maintenance, insurance, petrol, parking. There may be the need for additional hands, too.
In post-production, consider additional costs for music, talent, voice, any graphics, and additional footage or resources.
For pulling it all together, a production/ co-ordination fee of 20% is possible.
As a rough guide, my videographer fees are around
R6000 per day for filming and editing
R4500 for a one hour live stream
R12 per minute for films
